Purpose built equipment solutions
Innovative turnkey designs to meet customer’s requirements.
At Lemarc Engineering we take great pride in being able to produce purpose-built innovative solutions our customer’s unique challenges. The scale of such solutions may range from small and simple to large and complex such as multiple fully integrated turnkey machines.
Our workshop facilities allow us to design, manufacture, assemble and test most items in-house. We do not believe ‘one size fits all’. Instead we listen to our customer, and develop solutions to match the specific functional requirements and budgetary restraints on a case by case basis.Examples of solutions:
- Hydraulic shear for aluminium profile sample cutting.
- Multi-spindle automatic drill.
-
Operational improvement opportunities
Making things run safer, faster, better, more reliably
Lemarc Engineering has a strong track record in maintenance, troubleshooting and improvement of manufacturing plants. Combining these elements, we are able to achieve operational improvements by beefing up damage-prone equipment, identifying and addressing production line bottlenecks, automating slow or dangerous manual processes etc. -
Equipment related business risk elimination
Keeping your business safe...
Is your business one small step away from disaster?
- Loss of production due to equipment breakdowns
- OH&S problems: injured workers due to unsafe plant or practices
- Risk of extended breakdowns due to unavailable spare parts or hard-to-service machinery.
We can help you reduce these risks in a number of ways:
- Replace / improve unreliable or unsafe plant
- Manage spare parts stores
- Improve serviceability of machinery
- Guide you on many other matters of equipment related business risk
-
Guarding
Keeping your workers safe
Unexpected visits from Worksafe inspectors can be a bit daunting – unless you have done your homework up front. All plant equipment needs to be risk assessed, and often the outcome of such exercises is a long list of items to be rectified.
The solutions often call for installation of interlocked guarding and/or presence sensing systems. This has to be done by a team which:
- Has the necessary resources to take on the task
- Understand the relevant standards
- Has prior experience in this field, and is able to select the most cost effective solutions
- Knows how to successfully integrate the mechanical and electrical parts of the safety system, and make it work with your process.
- Is able to design, fabricate and install all parts of the system.
-
In-house engineering design and drafting
One-stop engineering shop
When we design purpose built machinery, our approach is a multi-step process;First step is a creative brainstorming at the whiteboard, where we try to translate the many functional requirements into a tangible mechanical solution.
Next step is to draw up a CAD model. This serves as an excellent illustration to the customer (a picture is worth a thousand words), and will often trigger new ideas, comments and requirements.
The design is thus gradually refined to final construction stage.
We are also able to leave out the design input and simply provide drafting services, turning your sketches into clear and concise drawings.
